Dr. Aliyar Cyrus Fouladkhah has co-authored a book chapter in the below book that was published a few days ago. The book is a wonderful resource for teaching and for researchers and in the book chapter discusses approaches for being an intelligent consumer of public health literature and for evidence-based decision-making.

Featuring Dr. Aliyar Cyrus Fouladkhah ( June 7, 2023) as one of the recipients of a USAID Volunteer of the Year Award. The award was provided to Dr. Fouladkhah after he had attended sessions in the Senate and the House discussing his experience and involvement in the USAID projects for assisting emerging democracies around the world.
Public Health Microbiology Foundation co-sponsored the second Yale Day of the Service event of Tennessee this year where kind-hearted volunteers packaged more than 3,300 pounds of food supplies for low-income Tennesseans. Our program director, Dr. Aliyar Cyrus Fouladkhah, who is also serving as regional director of (TN, KY, VW) of Yale Alumni Association expressed his sincere and wholehearted appreciation for amazing volunteers who patiently and meticulously sorted and packaged the products for several hours on 5-20-2023.
As the regional director of (TN, KY, VW) of Yale Alumni Association, Dr. Aliyar Cyrus Fouladkhah organized a Yale Day of Service in Project C.U.R.E. company in Nashville, TN where attendees sorted and packaged medical supplies for sending to Ukraine and African countries. We would like to thank the kind-hearted volunteers for the great and meticulous work in this event. The day of service was co-sponsored by the Public Health Microbiology Foundation.
Director of our program, Dr. Aliyar Cyrus Fouladkhah, hold a 2-hour teaching session for Washington DC Department of Health employees and staff as part of their initiative to encourage their employee to receive certification from National Board of Public Health Examiners. Dr. Aliyar domain was Public Health Biology and Human Disease Risk for preparation of Certified in Public Health national examination. In the past, he had also served as exam item writer and reviewer for both Certified in Food Science and Certified in Public Health national examinations. The DC Health (Government of District of Colombia) expressed appreciation to Dr. Aliyar for “informative lesson,” that were “interactive and engaging.”
The director of our program Dr. Aliyar Cyrus Fouladkhah is now serving Yale University as an interviewer for Yale College applicants for fall 2023 enrolments. He says, “I feel privileged to be able to give back to my beloved alma mater by helping to identify the nation’s brightest and most capable students. I appreciate the university’s dedication to education equity and promoting the highest possible ethical standards for evaluation of the applicants to Yale.”
